Nancy Du

MBA, RICP®, CFP®

FinServe Network Ambassador

Nancy (Xiuhong) Du, MBA, RICP®, CFP®, was born and raised in Tianjin, China. Du moved to America with her young son, settling in Atlanta, GA, where she earned her MBA in finance. Having had to learn to navigate our complex financial environment herself, Du has a passion to share her personal experience with college funding and retirement planning.

Du began her financial service career at the Bank of China international business section in 1992. In the U.S. she has been named a National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Top Female Advisor for Atlanta four years in a row.

As a mom, Du raised her only son and supported him all the way through college. When he graduated from Vanderbilt University, she considered this her biggest accomplishment in life. This experience has helped her understand clients' competing financial needs such as living a good life today, being able to fund their children’s education, and take care of retirement needs. She wants to help her clients leverage strategies to achieve financial goals and live a more satisfying life today and tomorrow.

Du coaches her clients to create a structured and disciplined process to manage cash flow, so they can save more and invest in the future. She also helps them understand how to use different resources in the retirement stage, including planning for social security, long term care, Medicare, and how to address the concerns of outliving their money.

Du has earned numerous industry recognitions, including twice winning the Guardian Client Builder Award, and being named one of NAIFA-Atlanta’s Top Female Advisors 2019-2022.

Du earned her Master of Business Administration at the University of Georgia. She holds FINRA Series 7, 66 registrations, and her Georgia Life, Accident, and Sickness License. She is a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) and a CFP® professional.
