Matt Aaron

Matt Aaron, CFP®, RICP®, ChFC® is the founder of Lux Wealth Planning in partnership with Northwestern Mutual. As a CFP® professional, he provides comprehensive financial planning to a diverse set of clients. Aaron began his financial planning business during his junior year of college and was quickly identified as a leader in financial services. He now serves as the growth and development director for Northwestern Mutual in Washington, DC, while servicing his clients at Lux Wealth Planning. In this capacity, his role is to identify, develop, and nurture talent, inspiring the next generation of financial planners.

In addition to balancing his business and leadership role at Northwestern Mutual, Aaron commits a great deal of time to deliver motivational talks to inner-city youth. Hailing from a similar background in Irvington, New Jersey, he is interested in helping children with limited resources understand how to create opportunities for themselves through entrepreneurship. He serves as a board member for Rocketship DC Charter Schools. He is also a spokesperson for the CFP Board.

Aaron holds a bachelor’s of business administration from Howard University and has earned a certificate in financial planning from Georgetown University.
