PACE - Professional Achievement in Continuing Education
Designations subject to the PACE Recertification Program include:
NEW: Beginning in 2014, all students holding any of the following designation: CLU, ChFC, CASL, CAP, CLF, ChHC, ChSNC, RICP, RHU, REBC are subject to the Universal Ethics Requirement (UER). This means that each student is required to obtain three hours of continuing education in the field of ethics in each PACE cycle. The three hours of ethics may count towards your 30(15) hour PACE Requirement. UER credits earned through The American College will automatically be applied.
The Universal Ethics Requirement, which mandates three hours of continuing education in Ethics for holders of certain designations at The College, will be phased in over time. Although it is encouraged for all designation holders, and any CE taken in ethics will count toward PACE, this requirement will not be enforced during the current PACE cycle. Additional instructions about the Universal Ethics Requirement will be available beginning in 2016.
