Our Mission is to increase awareness of ethical issues and raise the level of ethical behavior in the financial services industry.

The American College Center for Ethics in Financial Services is the only academic ethics Center which focuses exclusively on the financial services industry, The Center for Ethics in Financial Services promotes ethical behavior through program offerings that go beyond the “rules” of market conduct in an effort to help executives and producers be more sensitive to ethical issues and think more critically about ethical solutions.

Our interactive courses, forums, and workshops provide practitioners the ability to think critically and behave ethically, particularly in the absence of clear rules and directives. We also serve as a resource for cutting‐edge research and discussion of emerging ethical issues within the Financial Services Industry.

Because of its location in an accredited academic institution, the Center contributes objective and rigorous thinking in helping executives, producers, and regulators deal with the ethical implications of public policy positions.

Continuing Education is a necessary component of a successful career in financial services. In accordance with the mission of The American College, the Center for Ethics in Financial Services is committed to advancing the life long learning of the financial services community, The Center currently offers several webcasts for both State Insurance credit and CFP^® continuing education credits ranging from panel discussions to reenactments of ethical scenarios, each web cast provides an insightful look into the every‐day problems within the Industry. Mitchell Forum
This groundbreaking annual event brings together practitioners from financial services companies and business ethicists from academia to engage in meaningful conversation about ethics in the industry.
