Maurice L. Stewart Lecture Series

Through the joint effort of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company and The American College, the recently endowed Maurice L. Stewart Lectureship is a new lecture series that honors one of their most esteemed and accomplished colleagues, Maury Stewart, CLU^®, ChFC^®, CLF^®.

Since joining Penn Mutual in 1952, Maury has dedicated his life and career to touching the lives of thousands of people through delivering what he calls, "the miracle of life insurance." Maury's commitment to others' growth and development has contributed enormously to his success as a field leader.

This lecture series honors the lifelong contributions that Maury has made not only to Penn Mutual, but also to The American College and the entire life insurance industry. They ensure that future generations of life insurance professionals know of Maury's outstanding career, his dedication to others, and his pursuit of excellence in leadership.

The annual lecture will feature top thought leaders from diverse disciplines who will address themes and issues critical to the practice of leadership development. Maury will be intimately involved in the selection of speakers, ensuring that new ideas are featured at each lecture. The first lectureship took place in the fall of 2009 and like all future lectures, was open to the industry and webcast across the country.
