ADV Descriptions Descriptions of our Designations — Form ADV Part 2

Last fall the SEC adopted significant changes to Form ADV, Part 2 (commonly referred to as the "brochure") used by investment advisors to give clients an overview of their qualifications, approach, and practices. Under the category of Educational Background and Business Experience, an advisor may list professional designations but if so must provide sufficient explanation of the minimum qualifications required so that clients can understand each designation's value.

The American College has made descriptions available on our website for this purpose covering the designations we award.

Advisors may access that information here.
