CAP Education Courses

Earn Your Seat at the Philanthropy Planning Table

The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® offers specialized, graduate-level education for professionals working with high-net -worth clients who wish to realize their philanthropic goals.

“Before I started CAP® courses, I enjoyed taking my clients to the nicest restaurants in town. Today, I ate with a client at the soup kitchen. Instead of making small talk, we discussed the saddest parts of town, the problems. We dreamt of ways to improve our community and made a list of others who might care. Before, I had a specific plan: I was going to make enough that I could retire. Now I am certain I will work forever; the things I am working on are too important to stop.”
— Adam Miller, CFP®, CAP®

The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® from The American College is much more than a charitable giving credential. CAP® is the mark of a true master of the craft and science of philanthropy.

By earning CAP®, you’ll have the resources available to create a meaningful legacy for both you and your clients, while earning credits toward the MSFS master’s degree at the same time.
