Darlene Glenn: October Alumna of the Month
The American College is pleased to recognize Darlene Glenn as the October 2012 Alumna of the Month. Matriculating students, like Darlene, who are nearing completion of a designation or degree from The American College, are considered members in The American College Alumni Association. Darlene discovered how helpful live classes could be in her quest to complete her CLU® designation. She subsequently was instrumental in promoting numerous live CLU® classes to State Farm colleagues in Southern California. Darlene has worked with her peers, agents, and executives to hold these live classes, helping dozens of people work toward their designations. The College would like to commend Darlene for her incredible effort to help others realize their educational goals.
Darlene is an Agency Field Consultant at State Farm Insurance. She joined State Farm in 1984 as an agent in Aiken, South Carolina, and grew her business into a successful operation with nine employees. Darlene joined the State Farm Corporate Agency Development Program, serving as a lead coach facilitator and rolling out the program to zones throughout the State Farm Enterprise. She later became an Agency Field Consultant in Orange County, working with teams of agents to develop and implement their business goals. Her high-performing team has led the California Zone in auto, life and recruiting.
Congratulations, Darlene!
