Josh is a professor and head of the department of marketing at Oklahoma State University. He is a nationally recognized expert in the field of public policy & social marketing. He is an associate editor of this field's lead journal, and past chair of the field's national conference and association. He has published numerous papers in marketing's top journals and has been the PI for millions of dollars of research grants from a wide variety of federal and state agencies. Both he and his co-author (who is his wife) earned their doctorates from the University of North Carolina in 1980. Their child is currently a college sophomore.
