Nancy P. Morith heads the firm, and also acts as an independent author-editor for entities such as America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) in Washington, DC and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Service Professional.
She served for several years' as an adjunct faculty member of The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, writing on health and long-term care financing issues for seniors. She also served on the Board of Advisors and appeared in a PBS special on caregiving, "And Thou Shalt Honor" that aired on October 9, 2002.
Ms. Morith served as faculty for the federal Senior Health Insurance Counseling Program (SHIP) National Training programs, sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid in 2003 and has recently contributed as an author to the revisions to the 2009 SHIP Training Manual. She was also an editor-writer for the four books in the 2005 Second Edition of the long-term care insurance courses leading to the LTCP designation, sponsored by America's Health Insurance Plans' (AHIP) and also served as an author in the newly published AHIP textbook on The New Long-Term Care Partnership Programs.
Ms. Morith is a co-author of two American College textbooks and related course materials - "The Essentials of Long-Term Care Insurance" and "Health and Long-Term Care Financing for Seniors" and has responsibility for the course "Fundamentals of Insurance Planning." She has also authored many articles on long-term care insurance in several publications, including the Journal of Financial Service Professionals and has been a featured speaker at many national conferences.
She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds the Chartered Life underwriter, Chartered Advisor for Senior Living and Long-Term Care Professional designations.
