Curtis is President and Founder of Thrive Income Distribution System. He is an internationally known speaker, trainer and mentor in the retirement income and estate planning market place. He is also a Financial Advisor with an active practice in Iowa where he now serves his clients with his son Joshua and has been serving his clients since 1987. He was recognized in 2009 as a top five finalist for Senior Advisor of the Year by Senior Markets Advisor Magazine.

Curtis is a member of NAIFA, 4 X Top of The Table and 2 X Court of the Table MDRT member and a member of the Society of FSP and a first year member of the Forum 400. In 1999, Curtis began the creation of unique retirement income planning concepts and processes using newly discovered income annuity products for his client’s which has now been developed into a suite of planning tools made available to financial advisors since 2009. In July of 2012 Curtis was utilized by the American College for his expertise in retirement income planning and to provide curriculum content and video training for the new RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professionals designation).
