Michael Lackey, CLU^®, ChFC^®

Michael Lackey is a Vice President with the Agency Department of the New York Life Insurance Company, and is responsible for the company's career distribution efforts targeting the Retirement Market.

Michael began his career in the insurance industry in 1992, as an agent with the Mutual of New York in Raleigh, NC. He was promoted to sales manager in 1995, and transferred to the company's Long Island, NY field office. In 2000, Michael joined MetLife as a Managing Director in the Princeton, NJ agency.

In 2003, Michael joined the financial services consulting practice of Capgemini / Ernst & Young in Manhattan. He managed projects for companies that included MassMutual, MetLife, Nationwide, and American Express Financial Advisors. Michael joined the New York Life in 2005.

Michael served for eight years in the US Army and US Army Reserve. He has a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter ^® and Chartered Financial Consultant ^® designations from The American College. Michael resides in Princeton Junction, NJ with his wife and two daughters.
