The mission of The New York Life Center for Retirement Income is to elevate the knowledge of financial service professionals so that they can better assist clients to make difficult decisions about their retirement security.

We envision changing the level of professionalism in the area of retirement income security by:

• Making sure that more financial advisors understand the basic issues involved in retirement income planning;
• Teaching advisors the newest ideas coming out of the retirement income research; and
• Creating a larger community of credentialed advisors who have gone through a rigorous educational process (RICP™) suited to serve this market place.
