Gerry Herbison, CFP®, ChFC®, CASL®, CLF®is currently Assistant Professor of Management and Director of the CLF®program with The American College. Mr. Herbison has spent 4 years as VP of Sales at The College before joining The College's academic division. Prior to joining The College, Mr. Herbison worked as a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor for AXA. During his 10-year tenure with the company, Mr. Herbison was honored as an Elite Regional Vice President.
Mr. Herbison has a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College in Corporate Communications with an emphasis in Training Design. He has also completed coursework for a Master's of Education in Training Design and Development from Penn State University. Mr. Herbison completed the CFP®Certification Educational Curriculum and the Chartered Financial Consultant®(ChFC®) professional designation from The American College in 1998, the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living®(CASL®) in 2005, and the Chartered Leadership Fellow®(CLF®) in 2010. Mr. Herbison also completed the Master's of Science in Management (MSM) degree at The American College in 2009. Mr. Herbison is currently a doctoral student at Wilmington University, studying Organizational Development.
He has been involved with numerous community organizations. He has served on the Board of the Children's Aid Society of Norristown; the Finance Committee of the United Way in Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton; and has helped oversee the finances of United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania's (UWSEPA) Community Development Fund.
