Anne J. Doss is Head of Personal and Small Business Insurance for Wells Fargo Insurance. Based in Charlotte, N.C., Anne leads a team dedicated to providing small business and consumer insurance solutions, including auto, home, renters, life, and umbrella, as well as property and liability insurance.

She also leads Wells Fargo’s Life Insurance and Disability Management business. She is an Executive Sponsor of the Wells Fargo Insurance Diversity Council.

Anne most recently led the company’s National Practices as well as Wells Fargo Special Risk. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Insurance, subsequent to the merger of Wells Fargo and Wachovia, Anne was President of Wachovia Insurance Services where she was responsible for 1,300 insurance professionals providing commercial property and casualty insurance, personal lines, employee benefits, and life insurance.

Anne completed Wachovia’s senior management development program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Caroline Feeney is President of Agency Distribution for Prudential’s domestic Individual Life Insurance business, based in Newark, New Jersey. Caroline is responsible for the national sales insurance organization comprising nearly 2,600 financial professionals and financial planners, and represents the company’s face-to-face captive distribution system for insurance and investment products.

Prior to being appointed Agency Distribution President, she was Territorial Vice President, Eastern Territory, a position she held since 2006. As Eastern Territory Vice President, she had oversight for 14 agencies in 9 states. She is very involved in the financial services and insurance industry, and was featured as a main platform speaker for several indusrty meetings.

Caroline has an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and an MBA from Columbia University. She holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations.

Sharen L. King, MSM, is the Executive Director of the Northwestern Mutual Granum Center for Financial Security with The American College.  She is also a business strategist and consults with small to mid-size businesses and corporate executives, specializing in the creation of strategic roadmaps, execution of initiatives, metrics and accountability, and organizational design.

King received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Management and Marketing from Oklahoma State University.  She received her Master of Science in Management (MSM) with an Emphasis in Leadership degree from The American College in 2007.

She has an extensive management and field distribution background and has held several key leadership positions at Northwestern Mutual, including more recently Director - Field Vertical Growth and Director - Practice Management and Field Training.

King has been a featured platform speaker at numerous company and industry events and has authored a variety of training and program materials for field leaders and representatives.  

Michelle Pedigo

Regional Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Region

Michelle Pedigo is Regional Vice President for the Mid-Atlantic Region.  Since July 2007, in both this role and previously as Vice President of Sales, Pedigo has been providing strategic sales support for the territory, focusing on recruiting and retention, as well as increasing per agent sales productivity.  To do this, she is committed to enhancing the local infrastructure by working with each managing director on business planning and ensuring accountability. Prior to this, she served as national director, Distribution Partnerships, for MetLife Resources, a division of MetLife that provides retirement plans and other financial services to healthcare, education, and not-for-profit organizations.

In addition to earning principal, supervisory and teaching certifications, she has a master’s degree in education from Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown College. She is a published author who has served with national educational associations and as a panelist for the U.S. Department of Education.
