The American College of Financial Services, located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania is accepting applications for the position of Business Systems Support Specialist within the Organizational Effectiveness Department. The opportunity is a cross functional contributor role researching and resolving production support matters, including implementing level one platform enhancements for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

PROVIDE SYSTEM SUPPORT SERVICES

  • Provide level one helpdesk support for tickets in the Organizational Effectiveness and PeopleSoft support queues related to Campus Solutions-Student Financials and escalate to appropriate team members when necessary
  • Timely and first time resolution response to end user inquiries related to Student Financials issues, including but not limited to third part contracts, tuition calculation errors, term launch and charge priorities errors
  • Analyze errors and issues submitted to determine pervasive system issues and follow up accordingly
  • Demonstrate best practice in system use

REPORTING

  • Work cross-functionally to identify reporting needs, collaborate, help translate reporting specifications
  • Create data queries in PeopleSoft Report Manager and/or SQL, maintain integrity and confidentially of data, looks for ways to eliminate waste

BUSINESS PROCESS CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Key functional systems resource for production defect testing and validation
  • Document issue resolution directory and establish repeatable procedure for Student Financials functionality
  • Manage projects through to implementation, providing testing and quality assurance support, process documentation and training

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, application science, informatics, technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Strong background in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (specifically Student Financials)
  • Demonstrated organizational and business process planning including analytical and problem resolution skills
