Economic Empowerment Equality
The Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality
The American College Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality is the flagship center for research, thought leadership, curriculum and course development, programming, and scholarships aimed at cultivating lasting relationships between financial services and all underserved groups. The Center’s ability to catalyze, convene, and promote evidence-based knowledge will lead to better informed economic policy decisions, financial services industry-led solutions for future generations, and direct-to-consumer financial literacy programs.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY WILL DELIVER ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY IMPACT
Doing Good is The Stimulus For Doing Well
Breaking down barriers injects capital into our economy and uplifts communities in need. The Center is focused on economic empowerment – not social justice. Our work is a business and societal imperative, not a charitable cause.
The Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality Sees Rewards for Your Financial and Intellectual Support:

Prepare a Profession for the Future
We will prepare financial services to support a rapidly-becoming majority-minority nation.

Access and Promote Leaders of Tomorrow
We will foster meaningful career paths for a diverse group of financial professionals and corporate leaders.

Bolster Business and Revenue Growth
Through wealth creation and upward mobility, we will increase economic output and create new markets.

Catalyze Communities to Prosperity
By leveling the playing field, we can empower a new standard of wealth for underserved communities.
Our Initial Initiative: Four Steps Forward for Black America
The Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality will begin its work with Four Steps Forward – a big, bold effort to promote upward mobility and wealth building in Black communities. This initiative will model our approach for subsequent work with Latinos, Asians, and other communities in need.
Teach a Woman. Empower a Generation.
As an example of our groundbreaking Four Steps Forward initiative, The Center seeks to educate one million Black women in the foundation of financial literacy over the next five years.
It is a scalable, replicable, unique approach that combines institutional knowledge with corporate partnerships to affect real change for Black women, their families, and their communities.
