Outside Advisor to The Center and Four Steps Forward

Dr. Pamela C. Jolly is Founder and CEO of Torch Enterprises Inc., a strategic investment firm committed to minority business growth and development. Torch Enterprises has assisted over 1,000 entrepreneurs, national nonprofits, trade organizations, the Federal Government, foundations, and financial institutions.

Dr. Jolly will serve as an advisor to the launch of Four Steps Forward.

For over a decade, Dr. Jolly has been committed to developing data-driven strategies that lead to wealth as a legacy in the African-American Community. Her focus is to pursue business opportunities that pass the torch from one generation to the next, building wealth through ownership and equity. Dr. Jolly uses her extensive background in financial services, strategy, community development, and theology, to help entrepreneurs and organizations succeed.

Dr. Jolly co-authored the strategic assessment for the rebuilding of the Greater New Orleans area post-Hurricane Katrina. She also underwrote over $200 million in support of the rebuilding efforts in Mississippi. These two experiences sparked her desire to find alternative ways that individuals and groups could work together to rebuild their communities with ownership and equity. This level of commitment has made Dr. Jolly a sought-after speaker delivering more than 100 keynote speeches across the country and abroad.

Prior to founding Torch, Dr. Jolly developed her skills in the areas of finance at NationsBank, now Bank of America, strategic financial consulting at Accenture, private equity at Dubois Partners, and market research and data analytics at Rosetta.

In 2010, Dr. Jolly created The NarrowRoad™ to formalize her unique approach to working with business owners, investors, and their communities. The NarrowRoad™ Method is a proprietary business process system that infuses culturally relevant elements of society with financial literacy, management, investment, and risk. In 2015, she expanded the use of the NarrowRoad™ Method to educate and empower organizations and communities on specific ways to close the wealth gap.

Most recently, Dr. Jolly designed a strategy for The National Association of Real Estate Brokers using the NarrowRoad™ Method. The strategy’s programmatic goal is to create two million new black homeowners through integrated partnerships with government, national and local banks, churches, local community leaders, and real estate professionals in 93 cities across the country.

Dr. Jolly is a graduate of Hampton University (B.S.), The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (MBA), Boston University School of Theology (Th.M.), and the Graduate Theological Foundation (Ed.D). Her best-selling book detailing the NarrowRoad™ was released to wide acclaim in 2015.
