At LIMRA’s annual conference on the state of the financial services industry, George Nichols III, President and CEO of The American College of Financial Services, talked about the current moment in America in terms of financial equality for minorities, including Black Americans, and how it relates to the cause of racial justice.

Referencing The College’s “Four Steps Forward” initiative to combat racial inequality and promote wealth creation in the Black community, and generate upward mobility in communities of color for future generations, Nichols related his own experiences growing up with institutional racism and described the work that will be necessary for equality to become the true law of the land.
