Pandemic Makes Clients Fearful for Retirement Savings, Seeking Trades, Advisors Say

According to a recent flash survey by The American College of Financial Services, 93% of RICP® professionals report their clients have talked to them about COVID-19 related concerns as they pertain to their retirement plans—much more than only a month ago when we launched our first market volatility flash survey.

Wade Pfau and Colin Slabach, two of the expert faculty from the Retirement Income Center, say while anxiety may have spiked among clients, this also shows advisors are keeping up with the times and working on effective communication and crisis planning with them.
