State Insurance Regulators Hold Session on Race and Insurance

In a recent special session of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, College President George Nichols III encouraged fellow professionals to focus on getting more Black families to buy life insurance to protect their loved ones’ well-being. Nichols says addressing this life insurance disparity is one small way the financial services field can help close the racial wealth gap across the United States.
