
The American College Names Leader Focused on Empowering Black Community
Recent studies show the financial services industry has issues to address when it comes to diversity: one specifically focused on wealth management says Black advisors make up only 3% of financial professionals, despite accounting for over 14% of the population. To promote advisors of all backgrounds, The College is taking steps to help, including setting up a new Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality to support diversity in financial services and close the race-based wealth gap.
