The American College Takes Local Approach to Reduce Racial Wealth Gap

The College’s Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality is working to boost financial literacy among diverse communities and address a systemic and generational wealth gap among underrepresented groups. As the first step in that program, the Center and its Executive Director Karim Hill will be searching for local financial literacy “ambassadors” in collaboration with other organizations.
