As The College’s 2020 Retirement Income Literacy Survey shows, a concerning majority of Americans at or near retirement age demonstrate a poor grasp on the financial issues most affecting their long-term security. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, has upped the urgency of the matter by expanding the number of people retiring due to long-term unemployment and health worries.
