Women Taking Over Household Finances with Deficit in Literacy

While women are taking a more active role in financial decisions in their households, many lack the knowledge they need to feel confident in making long-term plans. According to The College’s Women’s Center Retirement Literacy Report, women overall scored only 38% in basic financial planning knowledge; however, they were also more likely than men to seek help from a professional.
