Colin M. Slabach is Assistant Professor of Retirement and Assistant Director of the New York Life Center for Retirement Income at The American College of Financial Services. In addition to working in the RICP® program, Slabach conducts research in the area of financial satisfaction and well-being. He is passionate about educating consumers on financial literacy as well as advisors in retirement distribution strategies.

Slabach is an expert in retirement planning, with a specialty in charitable giving. While at Texas Tech University, he received a foundation scholarship and multiple financial planning association awards, taught courses in their personal finance program, and was the student body representative to the Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board. As Assistant Professor of Retirement here at The College, he looks forward to creating and coordinating the course curriculum in the RICP® program.
