David Pierce is Adjunct Faculty of Insurance at The American College of Financial Services. He has held many roles in the insurance and financial services industry, progressing through the ranks from advisor to CEO. He also served at Middle Tennessee State University as Adjunct Professor of Business and Economics, and at Western Kentucky University as Adjunct Professor of Communication.

Pierce built successful teams and winning strategies in sales, management, marketing, communication, and leadership throughout the United States, Southeast Asia, India, and New Zealand. He led the team that created "The AIA Financial Health Check", Southeast Asia’s first-ever Needs Based Selling system, still in use 15 years after launch.

He created the original “Life Insurance Awareness Week” campaign. The concept rights were granted to LIFE HAPPENS and an expanded campaign is now recognized throughout the U.S. as the industry’s annual “Life Insurance Awareness Month.”

His book, Five Pillars of a Tremendous Life, was published in 2009 and reprinted in 2010.
