About
Gerald “Gerry” Herbison, DBA, ChFC®, CFP®, CASL®, CLF®, is Adjunct Professor of Leadership and Practice Management at The American College of Financial Services. Herbison served four years as Vice President of Sales in the marketing division of The College before joining the academic division as a faculty member.
Herbison previously worked as a registered representative, investment advisor, and regional vice president for AXA. During his 10-year tenure with the company, Herbison was honored as an Elite Regional Vice President.
Herbison has a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communications from Ithaca College with an emphasis on training design. In addition to holding the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Herbison earned the following designations from The College: Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) in 1998; Chartered Advisor for Senior Living® (CASL®) in 2005; and Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®) in 2010. He also completed The College’s Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree in 2008. In 2013, Herbison completed his doctoral degree in business administration at Wilmington University.
