Turner entered the financial industry in 1998 as a real estate developer; subsequently, she became the broker/owner of a top-producing multi-office real estate company that received numerous awards. After the Great Recession, she transitioned into the capital market and risk management sectors in 2009 to help clients build more diverse wealth portfolios.

After completing her studies to become a Physician Assistant (PA), she practiced within the field of internal medicine.

Turner received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College of Financial Services. On September 1, 2019, she became the first African American woman to be awarded a PhD in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning from The College.

Turner holds numerous licenses and registrations in the areas of real estate, mortgages, investments, and insurance. She holds several financial industry renown designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), and is Certified in Long-term Care® (CLTC®).

Turner holds the Series 7, Series 65, Life and Health, and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses.
