About

Dr. Nila G. Betof is Adjunct Professor of Management at The American College of Financial Services, teaching leadership courses in the Master of Science in Management (MSM) program. She was also an instructor at the 2014 Women’s Leadership Academy Summit hosted by The American College State Farm® Center for Women and Financial Services. Dr. Betof frequently serves as a guest lecturer and speaker on issues involving women in corporate America.

Dr. Betof brings over 30 years of operational and management experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer of The Leader’s Edge/Leaders by Design where she is responsible for directing all internal operations, client support and business development. She also serves as an executive coach and leadership development consultant for numerous Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients and senior leaders across the country. She has extensive consulting experience with the establishment of hundreds of leadership development programs and organizational change initiatives, and is certified in a variety of assessment tools and behavioral interviewing techniques.

Dr. Betof has done considerable research in the area of women as leaders and has published in the areas of talent management and leadership. She and her husband, Ed Betof, PhD, are co-authors of Just Promoted! A 12-Month Road Map for Success in Your New Leadership Role. In its second edition, this book presents practical techniques for transitioning successfully into new leadership roles. She also contributed chapters to The Talent Management Handbook.

Dr. Betof holds a PhD in Organizational Development from Temple University, a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University.
