Dr. Russ Carfagno is an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Leadership at The American College of Financial Services and a director at Johnson Controls, where he leads a group responsible for technical services and control systems for commercial products. He is an ASHRAE member, ALE (Association for Leadership Educators) member, Six Sigma Green Belt, and LEED AP. He also reviews academic journals including the Journal of Leadership Education. In addition to working at The College, Dr. Carfagno also does adjunct work at various other institutions. His areas of concentration include leadership, organizational development, marketing, product management, and business management. 

Russ enjoys seeing others succeed through the benefits of continuing education and is a lifelong learner. Russ is a Naval submarine force veteran and has an associate degree in electronic engineering from Thomas Edison State University, a bachelor’s degree in technical management from DeVry University, an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management, a certificate of advanced graduate studies (CAGS) in leadership, and a PhD in organizational leadership from Eastern University. His research has been focused on value-based leadership and how values impact the way in which followers prefer to be led.
