Program Overview
Admissions Requirements
There are no prerequisite courses required to begin our program other than a high school diploma or equivalent.
To receive the CFP® certification, you must:
- Successfully complete the seven required courses
- Pass the CFP® exam
- Hold either 6,000 hours of professional experience as a financial advisor or 4,000 hours of apprenticeship experience
- Receive a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Continuing Education (CE) credit is required to maintain the CFP® mark, as well as agreeing to the CFP Board’s ethics pledge. For more information, see the CFP Board’s website.

Tuition & Scholarships
Program tuition can be paid on a per-course basis, or packaged together at a reduced rate.
Single Courses
Just $995 per course
Single courses in the CFP® Certification Education Program can be purchased for $995 each, excluding HS 333 (case study course).
Case Study Course
$1,175
The final course in the CFP® Certification Education Program, HS 333 Personal Financial Planning: Comprehensive Case Analysis, can be purchased individually for $1,175 or as part of a seven-course program package (see package pricing).
Three-Course Package
$2,595
Save $390 when you purchase a three-course package containing any three of the seven required courses (excluding HS 333 and HS 347) versus enrolling course by course.
Seven-Course Package
$5,395
For $5,395, you may purchase a full CFP® Certification Education Program package containing all seven required courses (a $1,750 savings from individual course purchases!).
