Allison Quintanilla Plattsmier, CAP®, Ed.D., DBA is a nationally recognized expert in nonprofit leadership and philanthropic strategy. She teaches Charitable Giving Strategies for the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) Program at The American College of Financial Services, where she brings over a decade of experience working at the intersection of wealth, purpose, and impact.

As CEO of AQP Consulting and ENP, Quintanilla Plattsmier has helped more than 75 nonprofits and mission-driven organizations scale their fundraising efforts, strengthen governance, and align their operations with the values of equity and sustainability. She has raised over $5 million through major gifts, grant writing, and strategic campaigns, guiding both donors and organizations through transformative philanthropic partnerships.

Quintanilla Plattsmier holds dual doctorates (Ed.D., DBA) and master’s degrees in public service, community development, and business. She is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional (ACNP), and Grant Professional Certified (GPC), and on track to become the youngest Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE) in the field.

Her teaching integrates practical insights with inclusive frameworks to help financial advisors, gift planners, and nonprofit professionals co-create giving strategies that build trust, legacy, and measurable community impact. A frequent national speaker and thought leader, she champions cross-sector collaboration and donor advising that centers around cultural competence and lived experience.
