Our courses do not include the California Department of Insurance’s required one-hour Agents and Brokers Anti-Fraud Training. As such, the one hour of study of insurance fraud requirement will not be met upon completing our courses.

All CE credit approved by the state of New York for The American College (Provider NYPO-100037) courses expire on November 30, 2025, pending the biennial renewal every odd year. MSFP 631 Advanced Retirement Planning Issues

This course addresses current issues relevant to helping clients save for retirement and ensure that adequate retirement income lasts a lifetime. Topics include the retirement savings crisis, determining retirement needs, motivating clients to save, maximizing savings through tax strategies, choosing an appropriate retirement income strategy, tax-efficient distributions, and Social Security benefits claiming.

This course covers retirement planning and employee benefits. Retirement planning addresses accumulation and distribution phases and covers the various types of retirement plans, including employer-provided retirement plans (pension, profit-sharing, stock bonus, ESOP, 401(k), 403(b), 457, SEP and SIMPLE plans as well as nonqualified deferred compensation and stock option plans), Social Security, and IRAs.
