Christopher Coles, MA, ChFC®, is an adjunct professor at The American College of Financial Services, teaching in the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) program curriculum.
In addition to his teaching at The College, Coles also writes and develops curriculum for the Firm Element program of his broker dealer, and acts as the primary facilitator of its compliance onboarding program.
Coles has 26 years’ experience in financial services. He began his career with a mutual fund servicing company, working in various roles including portfolio compliance. He has also worked as an annuity internal wholesaler, securities principal, and compliance consultant.
Coles received his BA in Economics from The Ohio State University, and his MA from Ohio State in Social Studies Education with subspecialties in Multicultural Education and Global Education. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation and series 7,24,51,63 and 65 licenses, as well as, Ohio Life and Health Insurance license.
