Dr. Jonathan Thorp, DBA, CFP, CPBC, currently hails from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex where he supports the talent development needs of a global financial services firm. Dr. Thorp has spent his career helping individuals, families, and institutions identify and satisfy their personal development and wealth management goals. In his role as Leadership & Management Development Program Director, Jonathan leverages his firm’s global resources to provide clients with tailored strategies for growth and development across multiple programs and dimensions of performance. Prior to joining his current firm, Dr. Thorp held several senior positions in the financial services industry. Prior to his career in financial services, Jonathan retired from the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator with over 20 years of service.

Jonathan holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He currently is a Certified Professional Business Coach, a Certified Financial Planner® and holds the Series 7, 63, and 24 securities licenses. Jonathan loves spending every spare moment in nature with his spouse and their two children in the great Texas outdoors.
