After graduating from Austin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Kristopher Etter, CFP®, ChFC®, RICP® joined a large mutual insurance company. There, he learned that establishing a solid risk management strategy is the cornerstone of any sustainable financial plan. This knowledge propelled Etter forward as he sought to focus on holistic financial planning. His path led him to an independent B/D, where he enhanced his expertise by becoming a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) through the CFP® Certificate program at Southern Methodist University.

Etter continued his professional development by earning his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designations through The American College of Financial Services. Etter also earned his Master of Business Administration in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University.

With over 22 years of experience, Etter specializes in risk management, wealth accumulation, and wealth preservation and distribution. He is an expert in retirement income and takes great joy in providing clients with peace of mind regarding their financial situations. Through education, he empowers clients to make well-informed decisions about their financial plans.

Beyond his work with Beacon Financial Planners, he serves as an adjunct professor at The College, where he educates thousands of financial professionals annually. In his free time, Etter spends time outdoors with family, often grilling and swimming or building sandcastles at the beach. His interests include scuba diving, golfing, snow skiing, reading, taekwondo, and Orangetheory.
