Richard Pugh, CFP®, MA, is an adjunct professor at The American College of Financial Services and a financial advisor and principal at Financial Security Management, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, he is a seasoned financial professional and a retired U.S. Marine officer with 25 years of service. His areas of expertise include life, health, and long-term care insurance, which has made him a trusted advisor to retirees, business owners, and other professionals.
Pugh provides comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services, where he specializes in retirement, estate, and wealth accumulation strategies. He has taught advanced financial planning skills to aspiring professionals and delivered financial counseling to military personnel nationwide, as well as conducting seminars and continuing education courses across North Carolina.
Outside financial services, Pugh has served as chairman of the foundation board for Onslow County Memorial Hospital, where he led fundraising and strategic planning for three years, as well as a trustee for the hospital and an advocate for children in court proceedings.
