Angela Davis is vice president of internal sales and service for Nationwide Financial, bringing more than 36 years of insurance industry experience to her role. Since joining Nationwide in 1990, Angela has built a reputation for collaborative, people-centered, and visionary leadership. She leads an organization of more than 800 professionals and is responsible for all aspects of internal sales and service operations that support financial professionals and members across annuity, life, and retirement solutions emerging markets. Her organization includes licensing and commission services, internal sales, solution centers, and support services.

Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science from the University of Virginia and holds FINRA Series 6, 26, and 63 licenses. A native of Lynchburg, VA, she now resides in Dublin, OH. She is a passionate advocate for community engagement and has served on numerous nonprofit, civic, and industry boards across the country, including the Gartner Chief Sales Officer Conference Advisory Board, Hunton YMCA, United Way of Central Virginia, St. Stephen’s Community House, Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa.

Davis also serves as a FinServe ambassador for The American College of Financial Services and is actively involved in Nationwide Associate Resource Groups. She is a proud member of The Links, Incorporated, and a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In support of her continued leadership development, Davis completed the CEEE Executive Leadership Program at The American College of Financial Services and currently participates in the LIMRA LOMA Wharton Strategic Leadership Experience.

Outside of work, Davis enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Her commitment to service, leadership, and lifelong learning reflects the values she brings to both her professional and personal life.
