Dominique Langerman, MPA, CAP®, is a passionate advocate for philanthropy and wealth management, serving as a Regional Vice President, Community at Mercer Advisors since joining in 2025. With her career beginning in private wealth at Merrill Lynch in 2019, she brings extensive expertise to her work with business owners, foundations, endowments, and nonprofits. Dominique is dedicated to aligning financial strategies with clients’ philanthropic aspirations, connecting them with tailored advisory services and resources to achieve lasting impact and financial success.
Her commitment to giving back is deeply rooted in her values of community, impact, and empowerment. Dominique believes philanthropy is a powerful tool for creating meaningful change, and she integrates this philosophy into both her professional and volunteer endeavors. As a member of the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, she supports arts education and community enrichment through fundraising and event planning. Her involvement with the Junior League of Pasadena reflects her dedication to fostering leadership and addressing local needs through hands-on service and advocacy. Dominique also serves on the board of directors for Nature Israel, where she champions environmental conservation and sustainable initiatives, and the USC Trojan League of Los Angeles, where she contributes to educational outreach and alumni engagement. Additionally, as a member of the advisory board for Kids on the Move for Success, she helps empower youth through mentorship and opportunity-building programs. Her volunteer work is driven by a desire to uplift underserved communities, promote sustainability, and foster education, reflecting her belief that strategic giving can transform lives and strengthen society.
As a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, Dominique leverages her expertise to craft impactful giving strategies, such as donor-advised funds, private foundations, and charitable trusts, that optimize tax efficiency and align with her clients’ values. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in public administration (nonprofit management) from the University of Southern California, which further inform her approach to nonprofit governance and strategic planning. She is also a Series 66 licensee.
Based in Los Angeles, California, Dominique enjoys traveling, cooking, sailing, and playing tennis in her free time.
