Ethan Hokanson
CFP®, ChFC®, MJur
FinServe Network Ambassador
Ethan Hokanson, CFP®, ChFC®, MJur, is an ambassador of The College’s FinServe Network serves as vice president of advisor development at Bluecrest Financial Alliances, where he focuses on recruiting and developing the next generation of financial advisors. His work centers on helping both experienced advisors and those considering the profession build practices with real ownership and long-term impact for their clients and for themselves.
Hokanson’s path to advisor development was shaped by nearly a decade at First Command Financial Services, where he recruited, trained, and coached advisors serving military families under the mission of "coaching those who serve in their pursuit of financial security." As a military spouse himself, he brings firsthand understanding of the unique financial challenges facing service members and their families. He later spent time in independent distribution at CompEdge Financial Services, a BGA/IMO, working directly with advisors to identify the right solutions for their clients, experience that deepened his perspective on what advisors actually need from the firms that support them.
Ethan is based in Rockwall, TX, and holds the CFP® certification and ChFC® designation, along with Series 7, 66, and 24 securities licenses and life and health insurance licenses. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Maranatha Baptist University and a master's degree in wealth management from Texas A&M University School of Law.
