Honoring Deborah Eskridge Glenn With the Lang Dixon LEAD Award

Since 2018, The American College of Financial Services has taken time during the annual Conference of African American Financial Professionals (CAAFP) to present the Lang Dixon LEAD award to individuals who have significantly impacted the profession of financial services. This year’s recipient, Deborah Eskridge Glenn, MSM, MA, SPHR®, SHRM-SCP®, has earned this recognition over a lifetime of groundbreaking achievements, including becoming the first woman and first woman of color to join The College’s executive suite, helping establish the American College Center for Economic Empowerment and Equality, and even originating the idea behind the Lang Dixon LEAD award itself.

As the 20th annual CAAFP celebrates the power of building connections across generations, Glenn’s leadership stands as a testament to that mission. Her impact has reached every corner of The College, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and excellence that has empowered colleagues, students, and future leaders alike.
