In the 2005 James A. and Linda R. Mitchell Forum on Ethical Leadership, the American College Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services convened a group of financial services executives and leading academics to discuss ethical issues relevant to the industry today.
Specifically, the group examined practices that are intended to quell competition in a given space and whether they are ever justified and ethical. Contemporary American business values played a large part in the discussion.
