In the 2023 James A. and Linda R. Mitchell Forum on Ethical Leadership, the American College Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services convened a group of financial services executives and leading academics to discuss ethical issues relevant to the industry today.
Specifically, the group talked about SEC enforcement action against a financial services firm for a recent cheating scandal among employees and how the importance of ethics education can be stressed as something to embrace, rather than an obstacle to work around.
