Ethics In Financial Services Insights

May 26, 2026

As AI adoption accelerates across financial services, governing vendor risk is becoming an increasingly complex and urgent priority.

On March 24, 2026, the Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services convened senior leaders from across the Alliance for Ethics corporate supporter firms for the inaugural Responsible AI (RAI) Executive Forum. The discussion, held under Chatham House Rule, focused on governing vendor risks in financial services and surfaced practical considerations shaping how institutions are approaching third-party relationships and compliance obligations.

Featuring Dushyant Sengar, Co-Founder of RegVizion, the discussion examined how generative AI is challenging traditional risk frameworks and complicating vendor evaluation, reinforcing the need for more adaptive governance approaches.

A defining feature of the RAI Executive Forums is the cross-functional breakout discussions, which enable dynamic peer exchange and reveal diverse perspectives on shared challenges illuminated in a case study. These real-world insights reflect the depth of candid dialogue taking place within the Forum series. Additional takeaways and RAI guidance are being shared exclusively with Alliance participants as part of the Center for Ethics in Financial Services’ ongoing RAI Program.

What’s Next

Building on the momentum of the inaugural session, the next RAI Executive Forum will take place on June 23, 2026, and will focus on AI Literacy for Proactive Risk Management. This session will feature a tech industry expert who will educate participants on the most groundbreaking AI advancements and what they mean for financial services leaders' RAI strategies.
